  i called her today to know how she's doing and all that...we were chatting about different things, and she mentions that she was in the circuit assembly today...and then it went like this.... "have you gone to any of the meetings since you moved to texas?

  "i don't think so, mother.

  no, i won't", i replied..

  like that time my sweet dear mother told me that she had lost her house keys, and she looked everywhere.

  couldn't find them.

  she was worried, and to top it off, late for her meeting at the kh, so she asked jehovah to help her find her keys and, you know?

  Had a micro-apostafest this weekend!

  me, wife and our two kids went to mastodon's home (he and his wife are wonderful hosts!

  ) where we ate delicious roasted pork, rice and beans...and beer!

  it was all pretty cool--it felt so nice to talk openly about all these things that bother us, but also have fun while doing so.. we did the usual stuff all apostates do, you know, sacrificed puppies to baal, plotted the annihilation of all jehovah's witnesses, and designed a megabomb to be planted in the wt buildings.. yeah, right.

  Mom's calling me...

  ...and checking my spiritual status.. .

  first, she called me on thanksgiving day, and told me in a oddly warm tone, "i suppose you made turkey, right?

  " to which i replied in detail how i prepared it (mom's a cooking freak and she's great at it), and how i was amazed at how tender and rich it tasted, being the very first time i roast a turkey.

  yep, free internet radio...you create "stations" by entering a favorite artist or song...it searches its huge database and finds similar artists and/or songs, and tells you why it selected them.

  very, very cool...right now i'm listening to a kicka$$ station based on buddy guy's "damn right i've got the blues" song...highly recommended for music freaks like me; you'll discover a lot of new artists.. .

  Re-introducing myself to JWD

  i'm gonna reintroduce myself (got a new nickname, the other one would've blown away my identity in, say, three seconds)...so some of this might read familiar to some people here:.

  after a very, very slow process, thinking over things that were stored in a little box in a corner of my mind, i've finally confirmed all the doubts i've had about the society and about jehovah's witnesses.

  i'm a 36 year-old man, work as a software developer, married, with two kids, ages 10 and 3. i was "born" in the organization.
